mrs. braindead

while the boys were at Priesthood we hit up the Pinkberry..light but so right!

I have been such a scatter brain lately. But this story is over the top space cadet. Friday my friends and I had a spa lunch day. I guess I was just so excited for it that I completely forgot anything I had planned that day.
My day started with my father in law knocking on my door at 7:30 am. "Mike and the twins are here" I jumped out of bed realizing that I forgot that I was suppose to babysit the neighbors for an hour while there mom went to parent/teacher conference. So I am in my PJs acting like I had been up for hours..I felt so stupid. The story is not over. I then get home from babysitting and realize Im running late and have to hurry and shower.
2nd knock is my Mother in law "rachel your 10:00 client is here" WHAT the?? are you kidding me. I come down the stairs in a robe with my hair wet and have to tell this lady who Ive never met(referral) that I cant do her hair because I had a app at 12:00.(lunch and the spa but she didnt need to know that) I felt so stupid but luckily she was a sweetheart and I was able to reschedule her. Finally at noon I am sitting at my favorite cafe with my favorite girlie's enjoying tuna tar tar and spinach salad. We of coarse talked about our kids the whole time but it was so nice to have a girls day. The massage was such a treat except I didnt get to join them for a pedi b/c I had to get home for a client. What would i do without friends.. the week before Myles was sick and I was dreaming of a girls day all week. I cant handle being inside all day every day. Does anyone else have brainless days or am I a loner on this matter??

Fun friends Rach, I am so glad you have a great group to hang out with. You tell Myles to stay healthy so he can have a sleep over on the bunkbeds with Cash... I would of died if I had the day you had with all the mix ups, wish I had your lay back gene...

Always love your white embroidered shirt....

Boy things have changed. Starving students must be a thing of the past. Spa day and pedicures rough life! Glad the boys are feeling better. Maybe you should try a day planner since you're a day maker he he he

Ok I know that feeling! When living in Wisconsin I thought oh totally will be chill so I won't get ready I will nap while Daws naps his morning nap... well I am laying on the living room couch and the doorbell rings and it is my Visiting Teachers... I had nothing but my G's and a t-shirt on!! Wouldn't be so bad but to get up stairs to our room I have to pass the front door (that has glass windows on it). I opened the door a peep and told them I had to get some clean pants (cuz i just put mine in the wash, which was a complete lie!) and ran up the stairs little a speeding bullet! Later that day, I was getting ready to haed out to the gym (coats and all) and a girl I had never met came over. She seemed nice and friendly so I just went along with it. Then I realized after awhile that she was there to get her hair done!!! She had called me to make the appointment a week prior (also a referal) and I totally forgot and looked RIDICULOUS!
Anways, sorry for the novel, your story just reminded me of my crazy, dreadful day!
