20 Miles.Woo Woo!

Yesterday Rachel and I ran 20 Miles. OC Marathon and Ragnar here I come! Rach and I started running together about a Month ago, she is so driven and totally pushes me I love it! I couldn't sleep Friday night, I was so nervous. We hid our water along our route and packed our "GU" and "shot bloks".( If I could fit a baguette in there I would have:) 5:45 we toasted our energy drinks and away we ran. We ran the Back Bay twice, it is seriously the most beautiful run. I felt great, we kept a good pace and I even ran in new shoes, that I had only ran in once.LOVE by the way. No injuries..knock on wood, just sore muscles. I then followed the day with Feast after Feast, in between my icing breaks that is. How many Motrin can you take in a day??
Nothing like a TK Burger Celebration. Its pretty much the only Restaurant Myles will behave at thanks to there amazing fries.

Second Feast Jack Shrimp. Derek had us surprise Katie for her birthday. Whenever we get with this group, my mouth hurts from laughing so hard.

Boden and Anna just got back from Hawaii for two weeks so Myles was excited to see his tan pals.

And this is fun? Oh baby you've come a long way since the days you'd run a 50 yd. sprint and faint. Wish I couldn be there to cheer my girl on but baby girls Prom is that week end and I missed her last dance so I need to be there for this one. Hugs and Easter kisses for my kids

Great job Rach! 20 feels so good. Now you are SURE you can do 26.2. What a beautiful place to train, seriously jealous. I however get to look at gravel, weeds, yards that appear to be in forclosure. GREAT JOB!
..try 3 aleve twice a day for 2 days after those sore runs. A doc told us 3 aleve is prescription strength.

Please tell me that pic is before you ran 20 miles! I will die if you look that cute after running that much. After my 1/2 I said I will never do that again, but I am too quickly forgeting how much I hated it and kind of want to start training again. We'll see.
