I have the radest friends. They totally ran with me and brought me to tears.( Brooke, Amy, and Liz I love you!) Poor Willie put on his dads shoes 1 1/2 too small and ran the last 3 miles with me. He never complained or mentioned he had no socks and a HUGE bloody blister.
I cant even tell you the high you get from running a Marathon for the first time. I am obsessed!
I was very emotional through it all, especially seeing all my friends and family. If it weren't for them I could not have done it.
Next Marathon I am training longer and setting a time goal. I wish I felt as good as I did on my 20 mile run a month ago, but to be honest I slacked on my training after that and I felt it. I also had my monthly visitor come this morning too. Im not giving excuses but I think that was also why I didn't have as much energy. You just have good running days and not so good running days.It was still an experience I will never forget.
Its amazing what you think about running for that long. I feel like we had alot to celebrate, my first Marathon, Myles turned 2 yesterday and Willie graduates in 2 weeks. We are starting a new chapter in our life soon and its exciting.
I honestly feel pretty good. I'm sore of coarse but no injuries. I felt crappier after Ragnar, more delusional- I dont do well without sleep. All in all it was a blast and I'm already planning San Diego Rock and Roll with Willie next year.. any takers???
I am ready to give running a break though and start back up at my Yoga classes. Namaste.

Rach, I was hoping Teri would put some pictures up on Facebook of you and the birthday, and I was so excited she did. You look so happy and not a bit tired, what the heck! I forgot, did you get longer and leaner the last time I saw you, geez! Those legs of yours our in the sky. I have the biggest smile looking at all these photos. Your my champ, I've got to do a marathon now!

Rach, you are my running hero. If you want to run the Laguna Hills 1/2 marathon with us, we'd love to have you (though that might be too wussy of a race for you now).

Good Job!!!! I don't know why I just can't commit to a full. I am in love with the half. Maybe if I entered one in hawaii and had a week to lay on the beach after. . . when do you guys move to SL? Also, you must sign up for the Nike Women's half or full in San Fran someday. Its such a fun one.

Wow it has been quite a year for the Wait family. Lots to be thankful and happy about. Reminds me of your Dad and my first year. Marriage, had a baby, lost my Mom Dad graduated, we moved, bought a house and he started a new job.
